Through the years, Jimmy Buffett has cranked out a lot of albums with hundreds of songs. His Margaritaville website lists 48 albums in his discography.

I don’t have all of them, but I’ve got a lot! I’ve ripped all of my CDs into iTunes, and as much as I enjoy his music, of the 529 songs I’ve got loaded, there are some songs that I like more than others, and a handful that I love.

In a couple of cases, the live versions and re-recordings are better than the original, or are just different and worth listening to. In other cases, for me at least, I just want to hear the original studio version that I am so familiar with.

So, in the interest of leisure, I put together my own list of The Best of Buffett. This way, I can just start (or shuffle) the list, and let it go without having to skip to the next song! Not that my battery would last for all 280 songs.

So here is my Best of Buffett list–as of August 29, 2016. (And yes, you may find a few non-Buffett performances in the list, but true Parrotheads will understand why they are here.) These are sorted by the album name (based on the album I ripped it from…not necessarily the album on which it originally appeared.)
